FOR CONGRESS
MISSOURI’S 2ND CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT
As your representative, it isn’t my story that matters. It’s yours. Let’s create a movement. Let’s talk.
There is a deep well of hope, compassion, and a desire to move past the rhetoric that divides us.
I am campaigning to represent the good people of Missouri’s 2nd Congressional District. And, with your help, I can win!
I taught in this community for nearly 30 years. I know how vibrant we can be.
I’m running as an advocate. For you, for your family, for your neighbors – for this community. The “aisle” is a fiction. We are united in our core principles.
Public education is where the pulse of our democracy beats strongest. It connects this next generation to the virtues of our founding documents — the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. In these ideals, we honor the sacrifice of those who gave their lives and livelihoods so that we could live in a free and just society.
As citizens, we bear the responsibility to fulfill the promise of our Founders and work towards a more perfect union.
I honor our Founders’ vision and sacrifices for our country.
I believe in life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
I care about the kind of country my granddaughters will inherit!
Upcoming Events!
I am running for Congress with a commitment to action and real solutions. My platform is built on three core pledges: putting economic opportunity back in the hands of our families, making world-class education a reality for our children, and securing affordable, essential services—from food to healthcare—for our communities.
I am committed to cutting through the intentional political division created by vested interests so we can focus on delivering the change we deserve.
This is my promise to you.
As your representative, I will:
-
I will hold regular town halls and keep open lines of communication because your stories and the needs of our District must underpin decisions in Washington. I will work for you, not for special interests. Right now I’m running with the same accessibility as I would if I were already your representative. Sign up for an event.
-
I will immediately seek a seat on the House Agricultural Committee. I will use this position to strengthen our local producers and protect the integrity of our national food supply, leveraging the fact that the St. Louis region is connected to an area accounting for over 43% of the U.S. agricultural market. Advocating policy that will help us adapt to to an evolving climate will be the best path forward to protect our food supply, our water supply, our health and our economy. All of this flows through the agriculture committee.
-
Our students deserve the best. We must reverse Missouri's current standing. I will achieve this by championing the full funding of our education system to empower teachers and parents, while leveraging targeted Federal resources of the Department of Education to ensure every student is protected and has access to a world-class education. We need to innovate or continiue to fall behind other countries. Time to invest in our children beginning with Pre K.
-
Healthcare is a right, not a privilege. I will champion policies that expand access to quality care. I’m fighting to fix a broken system where care is too hard to find and too expensive to afford. We need to tackle the doctor shortage head-on with real incentives that restore safe patient ratios. We need to bring rural care into the 21st century with better telehealth and mental wellness tools. We need to lower costs immediately. I will work to slash out-of-pocket expenses and get financial relief to the families who need it now. Women’s healthcare is a priority, as we have one the highest maternity mortality rates in the country, and maternity healthcare deserts are prominent throughout the state.
-
I will focus on building economic opportunity for every family by supporting American manufacturing, protecting union jobs, and cutting unnecessary red tape to position the American workforce to lead the future frontier of industry and technology. This work is essential to safeguarding the dollar's status as the world’s reserve currency and creating high-paying jobs right here in our District. This year we have moved back 20 years in pay equity for women. Salaries have not stayed with the cost of living, leaving many young families out of the housing market. This hurts the community, our schools and our future financial security.
-
I believe in the ethos of the Problem Solvers Caucus: putting common sense and national needs above manufactured division. This is the same spirit that delivered critical investments in our communities, like funding for our roads, clean water, and high-speed internet. I will seek membership in this bipartisan group committed to advancing common-sense solutions, and join them to ensure our District gets its fair share of funding and results.
